Pain Spikes

This week marks the first time in 10 months (since my hip surgery) that I have put in a full day at work. I worked 2 full days back-to-back and my body definitely let me know it is not ready. Holy freak out! At one point I started to black out at work and couldn't even talk because the pain was so intense. I had a major limp and felt like I could barely put weight on my op hip. The pain is widespread throughout my body. It is of course more intense at my hips, low back, shoulder,& neck but I find it odd that I have these pain episodes that effect my whole body. I just started on Cymbalta 2 weeks ago, so hopefully with time I will start to get my pain more under control. It is really frustrating because everyone assumes that since I am off crutches I am fixed/cured/ready for a marathon. I wish it were that simple, trust me I would be ecstatic if I could run a marathon and only have the aches and pain that a normal person deals with. I know I will get this pain under control eventually...I'm sure getting in for a massage tomorrow will help out!
